  • If the current intellectual state of affairs is overall identified as so desperate that there’s justification to employ such drastic terms as “committing suicide”, could this justify the use of any point/fact which could also be employed to enlighten in ways handy for drawing more attention toward Iain’s findings & accompanying message?

If so, then why not draw more attention to the fact that the right eye of Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man looks more enlightened than his left eye, and that whence the circle therein is vertically split equally his head can clearly be observed tilting toward his right half/hemisphere of said circle?

    Totally! Thanks for sharing 🙏<div>
</div><div>The circle. Of the eternal. Of the halo or aura. The pointless shape. The bubble. A planet.</div><div>
<div>The square. Don’t you dare, or I’ll put you in a box! More basic. Only slightly less so than the triangle. </div><div>
</div><div>Then the pentagon. The shape to build war? A throwing metal star? The Five Star general. </div><div>
</div><div>Then the ‘spooky’ to the molecular building blocks for the kooky. The hexagon with 6 points, 6 interior angles and 6 equal-length straightedges sides. Oh la la!</div><div>
    </div><div>I’ll stop there 🤦‍♂️</div></div>

John, I like the way you deliver your message. It’s smooth and easy to digest. As well poignantly brought. As well, interesting that we both touched on the concept of colour per our respective today’s offerings 🙂

Incidentally, the first time I ever even considered how the two hemispheres differ so much was when back in about 2007, my brother had explained to me that he wore colourful clothing because he’d read that such brilliant attire had been scientifically proven to help tie the halves together to work in better unison.

And here we now are 😉

Thanks John. May need some touch ups, but the point’s there 🙂

    John,

Your poem has a sweet depth about it that for me did stimulate a sort of calming source of vibe.

Therein the opposites. Perhaps so designed to be a ‘brain teasing’ proposition, as well captured by your arrangement

    Kudos.

I think it’s a lovely poem Elspeth. Thank you for sharing it.

Although you wrote it, I believe to have felt some of the possibly catalyst or cherished emotion that may’ve so compelled you to forge out the piece; perhaps the mark of job well done 👍

Thankfully it’s true that sometimes of the best parts of doing such literary work is the resonance of fond memories.
