</div><div>I have created a book, dedicated to Iain, called “Randalas,” an intentional play on the word “mandalas”. The book, available on Amazon under that title, is an experiment in fore -grounding the imagistic capacity of the right hemisphere, and finding the appropriate relation of the left to it. That relation is expressed in black and white paper cuts (right), made by my own hand, and accompanied by brief poetic responses created by my friend and collaborator Jonathan Price (left). The “randalas” have no correct orientation (They were turned and turned in their making), and they remain something of a mystery to me.</div>The visual us among us man joy them, the poets, my make up their own legends.
