I listen to music at least four to five hours every day. I recently acquired a pair of Phillips hearing aids(my high pitch hearing ain’t what it used to be and the audiologist suggested Philips as they were the choice of musicians because they could be more finely tuned in the sense of equalizers). Anyway, getting to the point… One of my favorite forms of music is jazz and Keith Jarrett and Bill Evans are my Jazz Gods. There is a YouTube video about Keith Jarrett that speaks directly to hemispheric influence in the production of music. There is no mention of hemispheres but what Keith Jarrett has to say about his relationship to the process of making music is one of the most beautiful descriptions that I have ever heard.
