    ..as Blake put it.

What we can say is that which we see by standing back, disengaging from the world presented to package what we think we can use. What we can say is that which we see by standing back, disengaging from the world presented to package what we think we can use.

We can never see the whole truth nor all the implications of our choices But if we can access and trust that faculty which we cannot directly control when our pinpoint attention is overwhelmed, I think we will likely be better off. Wisdom is cultivating a capacity to operate both ways, not shirking that which we are able to do with a narrowed focus but also knowing when to hold a space for intuition and insight when circumstances call for it.

How best can broad focus include language? As Whitman said, “I am large. I contain multitudes.” Must the multitudes be silent to be included in our larger scope? Or is the very speaking, the diversity of voicings, the very chorus which the RH, at its best, orchestrates and resonates with?
