Dear @Forest @chrys @janschloesser @bobeng
thank you 🙏 to you all for such a lively conversation on a First Friday at 6 pm CET [Amsterdam].
For the ones joining from ‘western-US’ [ie SFO/LA] it was 9 am in the morning
and for the ones joining from ‘eastern-US’ [ie NY] it was 12/noon.
Thank you for showing up, joining and creating a lively conversation. 🙏🏻
@Forest before you logged off on zoom, you made a sound, that I interpret and form the assumption that you might have wanted to copy & paste the links we shared in our chat. In case this assumption is ‘true’, I am sharing the links here: [note: you might need to copy & paste them to make them show up in ‘google’.]

Fascinating for me was how the ‘dialogue unfolded’ [David Bohm].
We started out with @Forest mentioning one of the art-restoration projects in a Russian church, working on ‘Ikons’ and how she experienced being there. @Forest, would you like to share the link of your website where some pictures of your work are displayed?
@chrys shared how to intentionally switch perceptions, i.e. covering ones left/right eye and observe how things change. For more, please see the 3rd link above. I shared in relation to my work that I experienced how one’s intention can/does determine what we are able ‘see’/perceive [and how we label/name ‘it’]
@janschloesser was sharing his work [his publication is the first link above] and how he was wondering ‘how to apply Iains’ work’. From there the conversation led to @bobeng sharing about the tibetan retreat he attended and how challenging it is to ‘work’ and ‘apply Iains’ work. We touched on the label ‘complicity’ and @Chrys rounded off with the inquiry into Jan’s work, because he was the first time ‘here’.
Jan’s comment: “I didn’t know what to expect. But this exceeded my expectations.” made me smile. Thank you for that, Jan.
@bobeng created a Whatsapp group that can serve us for example to have the day/time as well as the new zoom-link ready or ‘handy’.
@pbarus lovely that you were travelling (I hope all went well and you enjoyed that) and that you loged in on the 4th of July, the US-Independence day.

I hope I have covered ‘everything’ – being aware when writing that that phrase also entails that I can not cover all that has been said and being looked at last Friday. So, if @Forest @chrys @janschloesser and @bobeng would like to add / change something for completion, – then feel free. 😊😅
I wish everyone who is reading this a lovely month and we see each other again on Friday, 2nd of August 2024 at 6 pm CET, 9am LA, 12/noon NY.
With kindness,
Manuela
