Hello respected colleagues! I invite you to join me for a gathering on Zoom which shall, if desired, become a weekly ritual, to the betterment of all.

Here is my proposal:

Dr. McGilchrist teaches that the right hemisphere lives in the world as it “presences” itself to us, while the left hemisphere creates a map — a “re-presentation” — by which we can navigate (and manipulate) the world.
If all goes well, the left hemisphere submits its abstract schema for integration into the right hemisphere’s living view, but (as we know) this does not always happen; sometimes the Emissary usurps the Master.
How are we to know when we are living in the “presencing” world, or alternatively when we are entranced by the “map” of our own creation? Where is a truth we can stand on?
